The finely prepared fresh sardines are cooked in an oil bath and drained before being carefully packed by hand into the jars with the chilli and herbs seasoning and then covered with organic olive oil which gives our recipe its unique and delicious taste.

Tasting suggestion:

To be served fresh, with rye bread ("spread" the bread with the condiments before placing the sardines), or hot with potatoes cooked "en robe des champs", accompanied by an Alsatian wine or a good white Breton beer...
